With traditional fixed line broadband, still a hugely important part of connectivity across New Zealand there are still a huge number of people surfing the web on traditional, legacy copper connections or upgraded VDSL copper connections. Many providers now offer a range of connection choices and it was due to this that we combined what was previously two categories (Best ADSL and Best VDSL) into one but with the number of customers still on traditional connections there is still a huge market for the DSL connection.
The judging process for this category will need to be fastidious as we have shortlisted two exceptional finalists for Best Copper / DSL Broadband Provider.
