Vodafone offer some great value broadband plans and have a great reputation. The Vodafone Always Connected Promise applies to your home, fixed line, and broadband connection. If your home broadband stops working, the Vodafone service team will do their best to fix it straight away. If they can’t Customer Care will add enough mobile data to an eligible Vodafone mobile, so you can stay connected while they get it sorted.

Vodafone offer discounts if you bundle your mobile and broadband with them. Fridays will be your favourite day of the week with their Fantastic Friday offers and discounts, like cheap movie tickets, music and sport ticket and more. Vodafone Ninjas are available in store, online or on the phone to help with any technical questions

We were initially with Xtra and Clearnet. We switched to Vodafone approximately 10 years ago. We were very satisfied with Vodafone for some time but found their online customer services deteriorated to the point where we have decided to switch to a local provider.
Excellent at billing regularly and penalising you if either your Broadband bill or Cellphone Bill is overdue by a day or two. Our internet is toggled to one of our cellphones. Tough, not negotiable. Very thorough website with all the bells and whistles, but for the layman, not user friendly. more
The total lack of support for email was the final straw. We were advised to use an internet based email. Shortly after so doing we had difficulties, within our settings, in sending emails. The Ninjas advised us that Vodafone no longer had the expertise to assist us. more

They used to be great with customer support. Over the last year though I have never been treated so poorly by any service company. Many years ago we switched from ADSL to fibre with VOIP. The switch was not very clean but happened eventually. We had a static IP set up for the connection. Over the years, the static IP changed occassionally, usually when the account was upgraded to a higher speed. The last upgrade though was something quite special. The static IP was changed and the phone line was later disconnected. Over the last 3 weeks I would have spend about 7 hours on hold waiting for an operator to answer. In the ensuing conversations I have been lied to, put on indefinite hold and cut off. The phone line was reconnected but not with the number we had before. I've been told 3 times they would provision the old number back on to the line which not only didn't happen but there was no communication from Vodafone offering an explanation. They should not be considered as a serious ISP. more

After having to change our direct debit system, I spent a ridiculous amount of time trying to change the details of the new account. I thought I had succeeded but after ringing and spending a ridiculous amount of time asking for our monthly statements (which couldn't be sent because I am with hotmail...?) discovered that I had been charged $18+ for not paying my previous months bill. The only company that I wasn't able to change with ease over the internet and apparently not able to change via phone. Bit ironic for a communications company? more
When asking around I could find no one who'd had a positive experience with sorting issues with vodafone
